WHAT IS A BIOME??
A biome is a geographical area that is very large in size. Each of these geographical areas has certain groups of animals and plants that are present inside the area. They are able to survive there due to their ability to adapt in that particular type of environment, such as a bear hibernating during the winter to escape the cold and shortage of food and water. The changes in a region such as the climate and the geographic layout affect which biomes are found where in the world. The classifications are plentiful to help break them down. type of habitat that is in a certain place like mountain tops, deserts, forests and is determined by the climate of the place. There are many different types of biomes, but after lots of research we chose the Taiga biome.
WHY THE TAIGA BIOME??
After long hours of research we chose the Taiga Biome. But why? The Taiga biome is in danger of extinction in the near future(2050). Forest Fires, Volcano Eruptions, Tsunamis and hunting permits that are given to anyone in the taiga biomes are major causes of the decline of Taiga. But the most important factor is global warming. Because of this Taiga biomes are starting to slowly melt and the animals that live in cold weather are staring to die.
